How we will make a difference

We will improve health literacy at an organizational level through training, engagement and partnerships which will lead to better health literacy skills for organizations and those they serve.

Our reach will extend to partners throughout all of Franklin County  including diverse health and community-based organizations (CBOs) such as public health agencies, community health centers, hospitals, social services, community health workers and others who are serving our community, particularly focused on reaching those who are at a high risk of COVID-19 health disparities.

We will develop, implement, evaluate, and sustain research-based approaches to improve health literacy in Franklin County. Our end goal is to empower partners and those who they serve which will improve access and the ability to make informed health-related decisions.
